"Meet the Agent" - Asia Ming-Raynor - Rego Sotheby's International Realty

This month for “Meet the Agent” we interview Asia Ming-Raynor a Commercial Associate with Rego Sotheby’s International Realty: http://www.regosothebysrealty.com

Asia discusses why she is enjoying her new career at Rego Sotheby’s International Realty, the favourite parts of her job and also some good tips when looking for a new property.

How long have you been a real estate agent? Two weeks, however I previously have been a summer intern with Rego Sotheby’s International Realty for years prior to my completion of my undergrad and master’s degrees at university.

Why do you like working for Rego Sotheby’s International Realty? Not only is this a reputable agency on an international scale, but also the people within Rego Sotheby’s International Realty form a tight knit community that can make anyone feel at home.

What is the favorite part of your job? Well, there are a few aspects. I thoroughly enjoy showing properties and meeting new prospects. The flexibility in the job is great! There is a good balance between office work and being in the field. However I must say, making people smile and feel accomplished is always number one on my list.

What is your favorite property on the market right now? That is a tough question to answer, but I think I would choose the 2nd floor of the Dickinson Building. For further information call +1 441 299-1408 or e-mail: amraynor@regosir.com

What property on the market right now, in your opinion, do you think is really good value? From a commercial rental standpoint I would say the RamRe building. For further information call +1 441 299-1408 or e-mail: amraynor@regosir.com

How do you see the Bermuda property market over the next 12 months? Well, it is going to be an interesting one with America’s Cup approaching, but I do think the Real Estate industry will see an increase in activity over the next year(s).

What are your top 3 tips when looking for a potential new property?

  1. Do not put all of your eggs in one basket. Search around.
  2. Seek the potential in a property! Remember small improvements can make a big impact.
  3. Take notes! Pro’s and Con’s of each property can help with decision-making.

What do you think of propertyskipper.com (we promise not to edit!)? It is a great tool that pulls properties from multiple websites. What a time saver!
