2020 a record year for traffic to Propertyskipper

2020 saw visits to propertyskipper pass 1 million for the first time. Propertyskipper’s traffic increased significantly across the islands in which it operates by 25% with noticeable increases in Bermuda, Jersey and Guernsey. After lockdowns and Covid-19 travel restrictions in the early part of 2020 traffic fell significantly in March and April, however propertyskipper saw traffic increase significantly heading into summer and into the second half of the year with the website recording record months of traffic.

Managing Director, Peter Goodall said: “2020 turned out to be a year of two halves with the first part of the year seeing property search plummet as Covid-19 shut down island economies. The surge in property search and enquiries as the year progressed was far greater than we could have expected. The overall annual traffic growth for propertyskipper has been very impressive, especially from where we were standing back in April. We have strengthened our coverage across the islands with new agents advertising on our Bermuda, Guernsey and Jersey platform and we are confident we can keep this momentum going into 2021.”

Propertyskipper looks forward to welcoming further real estate agents onto the site in 2021 and helping 100,000’s of house hunters find their dream property in Bermuda, BVI, Guernsey or Jersey.
