Press Release by Coldwell Banker Bermuda RealtyBermuda Realty Company Limited held a company meeting at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, on Wednesday, August 17 to recognize Professional Services team members and Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty top agents.
April 1, 1953 L.P. Gutteridge Ltd. founded the original real estate company which became Bermuda Realty Company Limited in 1961. In 1998, the real estate agency began the affiliation with Coldwell Banker. Professional services, including land surveying, appraisals and property management are offered by the Bermuda Realty team, whilst the rentals and sales services are offered through the company’s agents, trading under Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty. Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty is a 100% owned and operated Bermudian company.
There were five recipients in total that received awards for the 2021 – 22 fiscal year:

Professional Services, Manager, Paul Matthews said, “I would like to thank all of our staff for their efforts over the past year as we build a team predicated on ensuring strong outcomes for our clients. It’s particularly gratifying to recognize Senior Land Surveyor, David Kuhn, who has been with the company for 41 years, who won the Professional Services Department highest revenue award and also Lamar Richardson who has been with Bermuda Realty for 8 years, but recently moved in to the Land Survey team and won the Professional Services Department revenue growth award.”
Susan Thompson, Agency Manager said, “I am so proud and happy for Angela, she has worked hard to win this award and wanted it so badly. It is heartwarming to see someone’s dreams become reality…Congratulations Angela!”
Upon receiving the Top Agent award, Angela said, “After working in different areas of real estate over the last 17 years, I have found my niche in Sales and Rentals. I enjoy the challenges it brings and the learning curve is constant. The relationships I’ve built with my clients, customers and fellow agents are important to me. Over the past year, the Sales and Rental markets have been difficult to navigate for everyone. Adjusting the way we market properties and negotiate offers was key to successful sales and rentals. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me. This award is a reflection of that and a great achievement.”
Fiona Hatfield, who has been the top agent more times in her career than any other agent in the company said, “After 36 years of being a real estate agent, I still have not lost the passion.”
Adam was the top real estate agent for the past fiscal year and also was the top real estate agent for the Coldwell Banker corporate awards for the 2021 calendar year with the International President’s Elite award. Only 3% of all sales representative out of the more than 100,000 agents worldwide win the President’s Elite award. Adam said, “I am truly honored to be recognized along with my fellow colleagues. As always, my focus is to provide the best service as possible and the most rewarding part of this career is creating and maintaining new relationships with customers and clients. I am surrounded by a dedicated team who are solution oriented and always have my back, it’s really rewarding. All of this support helps me constantly hit my goals and more!”
