Azjahnae also discusses where there is activity in the market currently, favourite listing on the market at the moment and also some great tips for purchasers in the current market.
How long have you been in the business? March 2023, one month.
Why do you like working for JBM Realty & Associates and what’s the favorite part of your job? I like working for JBM Realty because of the knowledge/ support I get from the other agents. As a new agent coming into the industry I’ve been set up for eternal success working for JBM Realty. My absolute favorite part of the job is seeing the satisfaction from my prospects with the work that I put in. I take pride in those who trust me to make them happy.
Where are you seeing activity in the market at the moment? In the rental market the demand is more than the supply. Which is more like a sellers market. There are so many pre-qualified renters looking but unfortunately are not able to secure rentals due to the low inventory.
What is your favorite property on the market right now? My favorite property on the market right now is a 3 bedroom house for sale in Warwick for $799,000 on Propertyskipper, advertised by Property Group. My interest in this home came from the layout of the home and the income apartment which can be a great benefit to a future buyer. CLICK HERE TO VIEW
What property on the market right now, in your opinion, do you think is really good value? As stated above, the 3 bed house for sale in Warwick for $799,000 in my opinion is of great substantial value because not only of the space the home has, but the income apartment. Especially for a first time home buyer this can help with the monthly cost of the home, and also bring about a greater return.
How do you see the Bermuda property market over the next 12 months? If the inventory doesn’t rise especially in the rental market there is going to be a struggle for renters to secure housing.
What are your top 3 tips for purchasers when looking for a potential new home? My top 3 tips for purchasers when looking for a new house is first and foremost making sure you are Pre-Approved. This is very important as it lets you know your price range that you are qualified for when searching. Secondly, knowing exactly what you are looking for. For example, once you get prequalified for your home, you can search for things that you must have when looking for your home, swimming pool, income apartment, parking etc. Thirdly, finding a great agent to help you with your needs. I feel this is important because with the right agent by your side your house hunting will surely be a breeze and they can steer you in the right direction.
Finally – do you have any good tips for sellers when preparing their home for sale? I would say my greatest tip for sellers when preparing their home for sale is staging. I personally feel that if you stage your home it gives buyers a more open-minded approach to what future benefits that your home can bring to them instead of seeing the property for what it looks like now.
