'Meet the Agent' - Kyle James from Think Real EstateThis month for 'Meet the Agent', we interview Kyle James from Think Real Estate. Kyle has been working in Real Estate for the past 3 years and discusses why he enjoys working for Think Real Estate. Kyle also provides some top tips for purchasers in the current market as well as where he see value and opportunity in Bermuda Real Estate.
How long have you been in the business? I have been a licensed real estate agent for 3 years but was more focused on learning about the Bermuda market and understanding what it means to be an agent.
Why do you like working for Think Real Estate and what’s the favorite part of your job? Working for Think Real is fun because the environment is very relaxed, educational and has a strong sense of togetherness. For me it’s the perfect agency to learn and grow.
Where are you seeing activity in the market at the moment? There is certainly more demand that supply in both sales and rentals.
What is your favorite property on the market right now? My favorite properties are the ones that are begging to be upgraded. There are so many gems waiting for a new owner to infuse their imagination and creativity into the property.
What property on the market right now, in your opinion, do you think is really good value? There are opportunities across the entire island that can provide great value depending on the buyer and what they are looking to achieve with the purchase.
How do you see the Bermuda property market over the next 12 months? Inventory will more than likely continue to be a struggle for renters and buyers over the next 12 months.
What are your top 3 tips for purchasers when looking for a potential new home?
- Allow yourself to dream and imagine exactly what you want for your new home. Further, do not allow any outside influences steer you away from what you desire.
- Stay positive and excited and avoid being discouraged as the property you are looking for is only a moment away from your discovery.
- Ask as many questions as possible to your agent and do not forget this is an investment that exceeds a simple financial exchange.
Finally – do you have any good tips for sellers when preparing their home for sale? Put yourself in the shoes of the buyer, and you will find your perfect sweet spot.
