This month for ‘Meet the Agent’ we interview Kyle Wade, a residential sales agent at Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty. Kyle discusses why he enjoys working at Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty, his favourite listings on the market currently and also some top tips for seller and buyers in the current market.
How long have you been in the business? I have been in the Real Estate business for 5 Years.
Why do you like working for Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty and what’s the favourite part of your job? I like working for Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty because of the extensive training that they give to you on a daily basis and the dynamic group of people that work within the firm.
Where are you seeing activity in the market at the moment? The activity that I am seeing in the market is a lot first time home owners are starting to take steps to get on the property ladder.
What is your favourite property on the market right now? My favourite property on the market right now is a new construction in Tuckers Town.
What property on the market right now, in your opinion, do you think is really good value? In my opinion a really good value property on the market is the 6 apartment unit on Rocky Bay Lane in Hamilton Parish.
How do you see the Bermuda property market in 2020? If January is any indication of what is to take shape in the future, then I see it to be positive. We have had robust activity with many buyers viewing property, many offers and in some cases bidding wars.
What are your top 3 tips for purchasers when looking for a potential new home? The top 3 tips I give purchasers looking for a new home are:
Find a property in excellent location
Find a property with an Income Producing Unit
Find a property with a good amount of land mass just in case you would like to add on later.
Finally – do you have any good tips for sellers when preparing their home for sale? The most important tip is pricing your home to market so it sells for the most amount of money, in the least amount time, with the least amount of hassle.
