2014 was an exceptional year for propertyskipper in Bermuda with visits to the Bermuda site climbing by 89% to over 250,000 from 2013. Page-views grew by over 80% to 2.6 million. As we pass the half way mark in 2015 we continue to see exceptional growth with first half traffic up 38% as compared with 2014 and page views already reaching almost 2 million putting us on track to pass 2014 numbers as we head into early Autumn. If we drill further in to more recent trends - traffic in June/July was up 56% over the equivalent period of last year.
User engagement has also shown resilience with an average duration on the site of 8 and a half minutes per session, we’ve seen our bounce rate fall and our pages per session hold at just over 11 pages per session.
Outside of Bermuda we continue to grow the site in Barbados. We have a very strong pipeline of new agents coming onto the Barbados site which is moving the product content forward considerably and we have seen a strong pick up in enquiry levels in recent weeks. Propertyskipper will also be launching in a further jurisdiction in the Autumn and we already have key agents on board ahead of what will hopefully be a successful launch (more to follow!!). This next international expansion will further move us towards becoming the premier island property portal for offshore centres .
